Electric, Acoustic and Bass Guitar tuition
Guitar lessons
We offer Electric, Acoustic, Classical and Bass guitar lessons. Also on offer are Banjo and Mandolin lessons. Either on a 1-1 basis or in a group of a maximum of three people.
Styles
We teach all of the popular music styles: Blues, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Country, Flamenco, Metal and Folk.
Abilities
We welcome all age groups and abilities whether you play already and are looking to move your playing on, or have never touched a guitar but have always wanted to learn.
Our tutors
Our guitar teachers are Chris Bailey, Stephen Bridgeland, Mark Waterer and James Cornford who are all very experienced guitar teachers and performers.
Our tuition
Each student is provided with the relevant learning materials through out there time with us, which is all printed out in a clear and professional manner. Areas we look at are:
- Chord knowledge
- Rhythm playing
- Scales and technique
- Lead playing
- Theory related to guitar playing
Students are encouraged to put forward there own song ideas, as well as looking at songs put forward by the tutor. Our view is if you pick songs you like to listen to it will give you the incentive to want to play and really enjoy your playing, as this is what playing your guitar is about.
Qualifications
For anyone who maybe is looking to gain a qualification or just recognition of their playing. We offer the Acoustic, Electric and Bass guitar graded exams from the Registry of Guitar Tutors of which we are members. The exams are accredited by Thames Valley University. Buying a guitar
We are also able to advise on types and styles of guitar required for students who may not have a guitar already and we are able to offer competitive prices on new instruments at Right Track Music Shop, where our students receive 5% discount.

We offer a FREE 15 minute consultation lesson for all our instrument tuition. This gives you a non-commitment opportunity to meet the tutor and decide if its for you or not.
Should you wish to go ahead and book further tuition, we then ask that you commitment to booking four lessons in advance. This then guarantees your tuition slot.
Should you be unable to make your lesson, we are unable to refund you. However, should the school be closed or your tutor cancels your lesson, your payment will be transferred to your next lesson.
