Vocal Performance Technique
Vocal Performance Technique is a method of building up the skill set for becoming a better singer, regardless of age or experience. Classes are designed to suit each student individually, working on both their strengths and areas they find more challenging.
Combining warm up techniques, a grounding in basic theory and vocal exercises, each lesson comes back to repertoire and investigating different vocal styles; guaranteeing the student a chance each week to reinforce what they’ve learnt practically, in a song.
Recurring features of a lesson include:
- Breathing
- Vocal control
- Ear training
- Range/Registers
- Tone/Diction
- Interpretation
With the emphasis placed firmly on performance, many students find in particular any issues with confidence soon replaced by a burgeoning self-assurance and enjoyment of the freedom vocal expression gives you. With encouragement and guidance, anyone can sing!
As well as the Singing lessons we now have our own Choir which is open to all abilities, you don't have to be having Singing lessons with us to join, for further info please contact us.

We offer a FREE 15 minute consultation lesson for all our instrument tuition. This gives you a non-commitment opportunity to meet the tutor and decide if its for you or not.
Should you wish to go ahead and book further tuition, we then ask that you commitment to booking four lessons in advance. This then guarantees your tuition slot.
Should you be unable to make your lesson, we are unable to refund you. However, should the school be closed or your tutor cancels your lesson, your payment will be transferred to your next lesson.
